Funny how random music and business and life can be... Well I happened to be in Sam Ash Music in Coral Springs looking at drums and drum heads for my bongos... And just generally browsing about. I ended up in a discussion with a manager and a customer about which snare drum the customer was banging on sounded better for his blues/jazz band. Turned out he was looking for a singer/keyboardist and had some heavy gigs planned and pending. Wouldn't you know it... I happened to know a good one, Monique Chalk (See my links)... and they are now gigging out. Moral of the story... chat it up and don't be afraid to hookup your friends! ;-) Check the band out here for some rockin' blues: http://unleashedblues.com/
